sweet sixteen surprise party! PLEASE HELP!?
my bestfriend is turning sixteen in two months, and i’m throwing her a surprise party.
the theme is black and white, i might do a masquerade.
it’s going to be like semi-formal, coctail dresses, kind of like a homecoming.
im going to have her wear a bright color, like red or teal, so she standout.
(i’ll tell her we’re going to a dance or something, and pick out a dress for her, trust me, that part will be easy)
i have everything under control,
only i was planning to have it at my country club,
but theyre not available on any of the 4 possible dates i had in mind.
i already reserved the DJ, food, and the decorator,
so there’s no way that i can change the date.
any ideas of a place where i could throw this?
it’s doesnt have to be really really extravagant,
but it has to be kind of classy.
or atleast something the decorator can make classy.
there’s going to be roughly 150 people,
if that makes a difference.
Here are some ideas:
- Hotels – they often have conference rooms or banquet rooms that you can rent
- Local firehall
- If you’re in a warm area, someone’s back yard, if it’s big enough for 150 people
- Check the phone book under “weddings” for banquet halls
