Sun Mini Dress Information
Benefits of the Mini Facelift
Aging causes the skin around the face to lose elasticity and fat, resulting in sagging and wrinkles. Additionally, a lifetime of exposure to the elements (sun, heat, dryness, etc) takes its toll on the youthfulness of skin. By the mid-thirties, tissue sagging around the cheekbones begins to become pronounced and nasolabial folds (parentheses wrinkles) may start to appear.
There are many options available that can correct the visible signs of aging. Arguably, the most well known procedure available for the correction of mid and lower-facial sagging is the facelift. Unfortunately, traditional facelift procedures can be a great surgical undertaking.
A variation on the traditional facelift, the mini-facelift offers patients the ability to take five to ten years off of their appearance without the drawbacks of such an invasive surgery procedure.
A mini facelift can correct:
· Sagging jowls
· A poorly defined jaw line
· Wrinkled and sagging cheeks
· Nasolabial folds
The Simplicity Lift
Dr. Jasin, a Tampa facial cosmetic surgeon, performs his own unique form of the mini facelift aptly named the Simplicity Lift. The Simplicity Lift uses a specialized “pulley stitch” designed to lift and tighten the skin and muscle of the lower face, neck and jaw.
When you decide to undergo a specialized Simplicity Lift, Dr. Jasin will discuss with you various considerations regarding the procedure. You may wish to combine your Simplicity Lift with another cosmetic procedure such as a forehead lift or injectable fillers.
During the procedure, you will only need local anesthesia; it is very safe and will only last about an hour. Dr. Jasin will make two small incisions on each side of your face, one in the crease of your ear and one behind your ear hidden in the hairline.
After the procedure is complete, you will not require any bulky dressings. The recovery process is simple and quick. It has been named the “weekend recovery” because patients typically recover in two days. This is much faster than the healing time for a traditional facelift procedure which generally takes a few weeks.
The results of a Simplicity Lift are visible almost immediately. It can improve the signs of facial aging as much as a traditional facelift, taking five to ten years off of your age.
Because it is minimally invasive, the Simplicity Lift is much safer than the traditional facelift, but it is important to remember that with any surgical procedure, there are risks of complications. Dr. Jasin has successfully and safely performed over one thousand Simplicity Lifts with striking results.
